For the security and protection of all our customers, we do not allow bulk mailings to be sent from our mail servers. Servers used to send bulk e-mails can become listed on third-party blacklists and consequentially have their mail delivery blocked by some recipients' mail servers. Such blacklisting is difficult to undo and can result in the blocking of much legitimate e-mail.
For the purposes of this policy, bulk e-mail means any e-mail messages of similar content that are sent to more than 250 recipients within a relatively short period of time. Measures are in place to prevent bulk e-mail from being sent out through our servers, and repeated attempts to send such bulk e-mail will be prevented and may result in interruption and/or termination of mail services.
Normal "every-day" e-mail will not be affected by these measures ... but having 250+ recipients in your e-mail's "to," "cc," or "bcc" field will trigger the mechanisms which prevent the distribution of bulk e-mail. Breaking up bulk mailings over a period of time or sending such messages from multiple e-mail accounts to circumvent these restrictions will also trigger the mechanisms which prevent the distribution of bulk e-mail.
We realize you might have legitimate cause to want to send bulk e-mail to your customers and prospects. If you need to send bulk mailings periodically, we recommend creating a customized Printer@Work newsletter for these purposes. Information on creating a custom Printer@Work can be found in the related links area at the bottom of this page.
If your email marketing needs go beyond the features of the Printer@Work model (e.g., you need more customization in your email design or tools to manage multiple mailing lists), consider exploring our dedicated solution, Email Marketing For Printers. This service is specifically designed to meet the unique email marketing needs of printers. Learn more by visiting Email Marketing For Printers. Additionally, it’s a good idea to review your ISP’s policies regarding sending bulk emails through their servers.
If you have any questions regarding our Acceptable Use Policy or setting up a custom Printer@Work, please don't hesitate to ask.
