Blocklist Addresses, Domains, and IP Addresses in Rackspace Email (Individual Mailbox)
Table of Contents
This article explains how to add an email address, domain, or IP address to your personal Blocklist in the Rackspace Email Webmail interface to protect your mailbox from unwanted mail.
Why Use a Blocklist?
When you Blocklist an email address, domain, or IP address, this creates a rule that rejects any mail sent from the source that you specified. This helps combat spoofing or spam.
Note: This is a personal setting that only applies to your individual mailbox. If you need to block a sender for all mailboxes on your domain, an administrator must use the Rackspace Email Control Panel.
Warning: Use caution when blocklisting entire domains or IP addresses, because you might unintentionally block legitimate mail. Always block a specific email address first before blocklisting an entire domain.
