06 - Order Forms: Custom Order Forms
Getting Started
Table of Contents
Custom order forms let you create forms tailored to the products you sell and the way your printshop works. You can build them from scratch using the form builder, with no web programming required.
How to create a custom order form
There are two ways to start. You can open a category and add a new order form there, or create the order form first and assign it to a category afterward. Both methods give you the same result; choose whichever fits how you’re working.
Building the form directly within a category
- Choose "Order Forms" from your Control Center's main menu

- Select "Product Categories", located in the sidebar under "Public Order Forms"

- Choose "edit" to the right of the category name

- Select the "Manage Forms" tab in the upper left of the category details

- Select the "Create New Order Form" button near the top of the page

- Use the Public Order Form Editor tools to build the order form to your specifications
Building the form before assigning to a category
- Choose "Order Forms" from your Control Center's main menu

- Select "Order Forms", located in the sidebar under "Public Order Forms"

- Select the "Create New Order Form" button, located near the top of the page.

- Use the Public Order Form Editor tools to build the order form to your specifications
How customers access custom order forms
Custom public order forms appear in the same locations on your website as your system order forms:
- In the home page 'Featured Products' section…

- ...on the "Products" drop down menu (when added by you under Web Pages > Navigation Tabs > Products, the checked ‘Product Categories’ will appear in the drop down menu)…

- ...and in the full product list, accessed by clicking "View All Products" at the bottom of the ‘Products’ drop down menu

The next step
There's another order form that is invaluable to your website: private order forms, also called Reorder Form Library items. Our next article explains how to set them up, assign them to contacts, and show printbuyers where to find them.
