Setting up Markups at a Printshop, Company, Branch, or Contact level
Within the 'ShipLeap settings' section, there is the ability to set markups based on either per line item or per order.
Accessing markups
- If you are subscribed to the Ecommerce Suite add-in, you will notice a 'ShipLeap Connection' tab within the My Website's E-Commerce Settings tab of your Control Center.
- Selecting 'Connect to ShipLeap' (after MI4P has connected your website to ShipLeap) will direct you to 'ShipLeap settings'.
- Select 'Review markups'.
- If markups are needed for customers, select 'Add markup'.
Setting up markups: Per line item
- Enter an amount in the 'Add $ ___ per shopping cart line item to shipping total' line.
- Select the level to apply the markup in the drop-down 'Choose the level at which the markup will take effect'.
- If selecting a Company, Branch, or Contact, use the 'Search' field to search for the company, branch, or contact to apply the per line item markup.
- Select 'Add markup'.
Setting up markups: Per order
- Enter a dollar amount in the 'Add $ ___ per order to shipping total' to add a dollar amount to the shipping total to an order.
- Enter a percentage in the 'Add ___% per order to shipping total' to add a percentage amount to the shipping total to an order.
- Note: A negative markup can be added if desired.
- The enhanced shopping cart will automatically determine the shipping rate with the included negative markup.
- Example: If the shipping total was $10.00 but a -10% markup was added, the actual shipping rate that would show at cart checkout is $9.00.
- Select the level to apply the markup in the drop-down 'Choose the level at which the markup will take effect'.
- If selecting a Company, Branch, or Contact, use the 'Search' field to search for the company, branch, or contact to apply the per line item markup.
- Select 'Add markup'.
Delete/edit markups
- Select 'Delete' to the right of Printshop, Companies, Branches, or Contacts to remove an added markup.
- Select 'Edit' to the right of Printshop, Companies, Branches, or Contacts to edit an added markup.
- Select 'Yes' if the printer wants to apply the changes to all users in the company (or branch) when editing a Company or Branch markup.
- Select 'Save markup' after making the needed edits.
- Select 'Cancel' if changes are not needed within the 'Edit markup' pop-up.
