You have indicated that you already have a registered website address. (Back to this question...)
You have indicated that you are using e-mail accounts associated with your website address. (Back to this question...)

Because you already have a website address and are using e-mail associated with your website address, we will plan to go live by redirecting the website requests for your domain to our servers. These changes will not affect e-mail services provided for your domain — your e-mail services will remain unchanged.

Option 1
Often times your domain name registrar (Network Solutions, Enom, Register.com, GoDaddy, etc.) will provide tools to redirect the website requests. Please note: Option 1 is available only when you are using your registrar's default Domain Name Servers.

You may provide us with your registrar's account/login information and we will establish the redirects for you. (The info may be sent to techsupport@mi4p.com, or you may provide that information by calling us at 800-736-0688.) Option 1 is the preferred option.

Option 2
This option is the option used most often. This option will require the cooperation of your current website host, as they will need to create the instructions for your website address to redirect to the MarketingIdeasForPrinters.com servers. You will need to contact your current website host and have them follow the instructions provided below:

Instructions for your current host:

In order to allow MarketingIdeasForPrinters.com to provide web content services during the MarketingIdeasForPrinters.com 30-day live trial, we would like to ask that you make the following entries in your Domain Name Server for our client's domain:
@   A   69.20.103.147

www   A   69.20.103.147

Once you apply these changes, all web content requests will be directed to our web content servers.

You may check the accuracy of your changes by entering the domain name being affected on this DNS Query page: http://www.opendns.com/support/cache/. If your change was successful you'll see multiple references to the IP address 69.20.103.147.

Please send an e-mail to techsupport@mi4p.com if you have any questions or comments.

Thank you for your help!

IMPORTANT! Please contact us when you have given these instructions to your current host so we can monitor the redirection at MarketingIdeasForPrinters.com. Thank you!

More Information:

  • The redirect information above is not to be used as DNS information. The redirects are temporary alterations to the existing DNS records.
  • Often times your website will be live almost instantly after the changes have been made, but the changes may take up to two days to take effect if your Internet Service Provider caches DNS information.
  • Other users (such as your customers) may see your new site before you do if their Internet Service Providers do not have cached DNS information.
  • If you decide to continue with MarketingIdeasForPrinters.com when the 30-Day Live Trial is complete, we will help you establish a more permanent method of maintaining your live website.
