Early Access: Previewing and Requesting the New Storefront

Overview
We’re modernizing storefronts page by page with an updated design. Early Access gives you two ways to experience the new storefront as it develops:
- Preview it in your browser to explore the updated pages privately.
- Request Early Access for your website when you’re ready for all website visitors to see the updated pages.
Both options are available in Control Center under My Website → Website Settings → Early Access.

Preview the New Storefront in Your Browser
The browser preview lets you explore the updated storefront before requesting Early Access for everyone. It applies only to the browser you use to join, so other visitors will continue seeing your current storefront.
Join the browser preview
- In Control Center, select ‘My Website’.
- Select ‘Early Access’.
- Select ‘Go to early access settings’
- On the ‘Early Access settings’ page, select ‘Join early access’.

Your browser will now display the updated storefront pages available for your website. An Early Access badge appears in the lower-right corner of the website to show that you are viewing the Early Access experience.

Open the Early Access settings page using a secure
https://connection. If you arrive through anhttp://address, follow the on-screen message to reopen the page securely. - Your Early Access preference is saved in a browser cookie for approximately 90 days.
- The preview applies to the specific browser, device, and printshop URL where you joined. You can repeat the steps on another browser or device whenever you would like to preview there.
- To return to the current storefront experience, revisit the settings page and select ‘Leave Early Access’.

- The ‘Early access settings’ page is designed to remain easy to access independently of the storefront.
- As new pages are completed, they will be added to the Early Access experience. Pages still being modernized will continue using their current design in the meantime.
Request Early Access for Your Website
After previewing the updated storefront, you may request Early Access for your entire website. Once approved, all website visitors will see the new storefront pages as they become available.
Submit your request
1. In Control Center, go to My Website → Website Settings → Early Access.
2. Under the ‘Turn on for your customers’ section, select ‘Request Early Access for My Site’.

3. Confirm on the pop-up modal that you would like to submit the request.

Submitting the request sends it to our team for review. Your current storefront experience will remain in place while the review is completed.
What happens next
- Your Early Access page will display a Requested status, including who submitted the request and when.

- Our team will review your website to confirm that it is ready for the Early Access experience.
- While the request is being reviewed, you may select Withdraw Request if your plans change.

- When approved, the status will update to Admitted and display the effective date.
- Once admitted, all visitors will see the updated storefront pages that are currently available. Additional pages will transition to the new design automatically as they are completed.
- If the website needs any updates before moving forward, the Early Access page will display the reason and you can submit another request after those items have been addressed.
Additional details
- Each request is reviewed by our team so we can confirm that your website and domain are ready before Early Access is turned on for all website visitors.
- If you would like to leave sitewide Early Access after being admitted, contact Tech Support by email or call 1-800-736-0688 and we’ll assist you.
- Browser preview and sitewide Early Access are separate options. Previewing first gives you an opportunity to explore the updated pages before requesting the experience for all website visitors.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to request Early Access before previewing the new storefront?
No. You can join the browser preview immediately from the Early Access settings page. Sitewide Early Access is a separate option that you can request when you’re ready.
Will previewing the new storefront affect other visitors?
No. The preview is saved only in the browser where you joined. Other visitors will continue seeing the current storefront until your website is approved for sitewide Early Access.
Can I preview Early Access on another computer or browser?
Yes. Visit My Website → Website Settings → Early Access from that browser or device and select Go to early access settings, followed by Join early access.
Why do some pages still use the current design?
Storefront pages are being modernized in stages. Early Access displays the new design on completed pages, while pages still in progress continue using their current design.
What happens if my site needs an update before it can be approved?
The Early Access page will display the reason and identify what needs attention. Once the item has been addressed, you can submit a new request.
Can I submit another request after withdrawing a previous one?
Yes. You can submit another request whenever your website is eligible and you’re ready to proceed.
Where is the request button?
The Request Early Access for My Site button appears when your website is Live and has a secure domain with SSL. If an item still needs to be completed, the Early Access page will display the next step. Contact Tech Support by email or call 1-800-736-0688 and we’ll assist you.
How do I leave Early Access?
- For a browser preview, return to the ‘Early access settings' page via My Website → Website Settings → Early Access and select Leave early access.
