Create a payment option Edit or delete a payment option Make a payment option available to all clients Set payment options for a company, branch, or contact The next step

Setting up payment options is a two-step process, similar to setting up shipping options. First, create the payment options your website will offer. Then, choose which payment options are available to all clients or assign specific payment options to a company, branch, or contact.

For example, you might allow all clients to pay by credit card while offering invoice billing only to approved accounts.

Create a payment option

1. Select My Website from the Control Center’s top menu.

2. Select E-Commerce Settings from the sidebar.

3. Select Payment Options.

4. Click Add a New Payment Option.

5. Complete the settings for the new option:

a. Payment Option: Enter a descriptive name for your internal use. Clients do not see this name.

b. Displayed As: Enter the payment option name clients will see.

c. This option requires a billing address: Select whether printbuyers must provide a billing address when using this option. Set it to ‘no’ when a billing address is not required.

6. Click Create New Payment Option.

Edit or delete a payment option

1. Select My Website from the Control Center’s top menu.

2. Select E-Commerce Settings from the sidebar.

3. Select Payment Options.

4. To edit a payment option, select its ‘edit’ button

5. Update the settings as needed, and click Update Payment Option.

6. To remove an option, select its ‘delete’ button.

a. Deleting a payment option does not change previous orders. Those orders will continue to show the payment option selected when they were placed.

Make a payment option available to all clients

The system-wide defaults are the payment options available to all clients. You can override these defaults for a specific company, branch, or contact.

1. Select Accounts from the Control Center’s top menu.

2. Select Account Settings from the sidebar.

3. Select Payment Options.

4. Check each payment option you want to make available to all clients.

5. Click Save Changes.

Set payment options for a company, branch, or contact

Use account-specific settings when you want to offer a company, branch, or contact more or fewer payment options than the system-wide defaults.

1. Select Accounts from the Control Center’s top menu.

2. Select Account Settings from the sidebar.

3. Select Payment Options.

4. Use the people search tool in the sidebar to find the company, branch, or contact you want to update. Enter a keyword to filter the lists, then select the correct account.

5. Confirm that the information at the top of the page identifies the company, branch, or contact you want to edit.

6. Select Use the Payment Options defined below.

7. Check each payment option you want to make available to that company, branch, or contact.

8. Click Save Changes.
