Global Questions let you create a question once and use it on multiple order forms. When you edit the Global Question, the change is applied to every order form using it.

For example, you could create a Global Question listing your paper choices and add it to several order forms. If those choices change, update the Global Question once instead of editing each order form separately.

You can find Global Questions in your website’s Control Center under Order Forms > Order Form Settings > Global Questions.

Create a Global Question

1. In Global Questions, select Add a New Global Question.

2. Within the ‘Question Editor’ next to Select a Question Type, choose the type of question you want to create.

3. Enter the Question Name and the answers or other information needed for that question.

4. Select Create Question.

5. Select Save Question upon completing any additional needed edits.

Creating a Global Question makes it available for use on Order Forms. It does not automatically add it to a form.

Add a Global Question to an Order Form

1. In the Control Center, select Order Forms at the top of the page.

2. Select Public Order Forms or Reorder Forms Library, depending on the form you are editing.

3. Find the order form needing the edit and select Edit.

4. In the Order Form Editor or Reorder Form Editor, select Questions & Answers,

5. Select Add a Question.

6. Next to Question Type, select Use a Global Question or Element.

7. Next to Select a Global Question/Element, choose the question you created.

8. Select Use This Global Question.

The question will appear in the form’s Questions & Answers list. You can drag it to the position where you want it to appear. Its darker gray globe icon identifies it as a Global Question.

9. Select the orange ‘View’ button to see how the order form appears to print buyers.

Edit a Global Question

1. In the Control Center, select Order Forms at the top of the page.

2. Select ‘Order Form Settings’.

3. Select ‘Global Questions’.

4. Select the blue pencil ‘edit’ icon next to the global question needing to be edited.

You can add, change, or remove answers in the Question Editor.

5. Select Save Question when finished.

Changes saved here apply to every Order Form using the Global Question. You can also create separate Global Questions with the same name if different Clients need different answer choices.

Customize Answers for a Specific Order Form

To control which answers appear on a particular order form, edit that order form:

1. In the Control Center, select Order Forms.

2. To edit a public order form, select Public Order Forms > Order Forms. To edit a reorder form, select Reorder Forms Library.

3. Select the blue edit icon to the right of the form.

4. Select Questions & Answers.

5. Select the blue pencil icon to the right of the Global Question.

6. Select Customize Answers.

7. Turn the applicable answers ‘on’ or ‘off’.

8. Select ok, go ahead in the pop-up alert.

9. Select Close when finished.

Answers turned off on one order form remain part of the Global Question and can still appear on other order forms. To change the question or its answers for all order forms, edit it in Global Questions instead.

Add Pricing to a Global Question

1. In the Control Center, select Order Forms.

2. Select Order Form Settings.

3. Select Global Questions.

4. Select the $ icon beside the question.

5. Enter prices manually, or download the pricing template, complete it, and upload the CSV file.

6. Set the pricing Status to Active.

The pricing table and status save automatically. When order form pricing is active, the answer prices are included in the online price for order forms using that Global Question.

Remove or Delete a Global Question

To remove a Global Question from one order form:

1. Select Order Forms at the top of the Control Center.

2. For a public order form, select Public Order Forms > Order Forms. For a reorder form, select Reorder Forms Library.

3. Select the blue Edit icon to the right of the form.

4. Select Questions & Answers.

5. Select the red trash can icon to the right of the Global Question. This removes it from the selected order form only.

To delete a Global Question from the website:

1. Follow the steps above to remove the Global Question from every order form using it.

2. In the Control Center, select Order Forms.

3. Select Order Form Settings.

4. Select Global Questions.

5. Select the red trash can icon to the right of the Global Question. The icon will not appear while the question is still in use.

6. Select ‘ok, go ahead’ in the Alert! pop-up modal.

Note: The default Global Questions included with your website cannot be deleted. You can edit their names, question types, and answers.
