Adjusting USPS Services for All Customers

To manage USPS service availability for your customers, follow these steps:

  1. Disabling USPS at Checkout
    • Navigate to 'USPS Account' and select 'Available' to the right.
    • This action will disable USPS rates from appearing at checkout for all customers.
  2. Disabling Specific USPS Services
    • For individual services like 'First' or 'Priority', select 'Available' next to the service name.
    • This will make that specific service unavailable to all customers.
    • Any USPS services toggled to 'Unavailable' will appear under 'Unavailable Services'.
  3. Advanced Settings
    • To access advanced settings, select the blue gear icon next to 'USPS Account' or any USPS service.
    • This allows you to override default settings for specific companies, branches, or contacts.

Adjusting USPS Services for for Specific Customers

  1. Overriding USPS Settings for Specific Customers
    • To override settings, select 'Add customer to the list' in the advanced settings menu.
    • In the pop-up modal, begin typing to search for the company, branch, or contact you wish to override.
    • Once selected, you’ll be directed to the ShipLeap Settings > Customer Preferences > Profile page.
  2. Managing USPS Availability for Selected Customers
    • On the Profile page, select 'Unavailable' next to 'USPS Account' to manage services for the chosen customer.
    • Toggle USPS services on or off based on the needs of the specific company, branch, or contact:
      • Available: Service is enabled.
      • Unavailable: Service is disabled.
  3. Saving Changes
    • Once selections are made, click 'Save' in the lower-right corner.
    • A confirmation pop-up will confirm: "The settings have been successfully saved."
  4. Reverting to Default Settings
    • To return a company, branch, or contact to default USPS settings, select the blue 'Back to default' button in the upper-right corner of the Profile page.
    • Confirm your choice:
      • Select 'Yes' to restore default settings.
      • Select 'No' to retain the customized override settings.
  5. Returning to Main Settings
    • After making adjustments, click 'Return to settings' to go back to the main ShipLeap Settings page.
    • If any customer has advanced settings applied, you’ll see a message stating 'Some customers have advanced settings applied' for the USPS services they’ve customized.

To adjust FedEx, UPS, and additional shipping carrier services to override the default set for your printshop, follow the same instructions as above.
