What Is a Customer Portal?
“Customer portal” can mean different things. On your website, it may refer to an account where a customer places orders, a private collection of products, or a website experience branded for a particular customer. Here’s how those options differ.
Customer Accounts
Customers can sign in to your website with an email address and password to place orders and access their account information. You can also create accounts for them. Contacts can be organized under a company and, if needed, branches within that company.

Private Reorder Forms
The Reorder Forms Library lets you make selected products available only to specific contacts, companies, or branches. This gives those customers a private collection of products they can order after signing in.

Private Label Websites
A Private Label Website provides a website experience branded for a particular customer. It operates within your website while giving that customer a distinct look and access to the content and ordering options you set up for them.
