Scenario 1 (Outlook):

  1. Open the file email.html with your browser
  2. Ensure all the images are loaded properly
  3. Open Outlook
  4. Select "New" to create a new message
  5. Click on the 'Customize Quick Access Toolbar' button located in the top bar
  6. Choose 'Attach File'
  7. Add the 'Attach File' to the Quick Access Toolbar
  8. Click on "Attach file" in the Quick Access Toolbar within the new message
  9. Select the html file - email.html
  10. Click on the arrow next to the "Insert" button to access the drop down menu
  11. Select "Insert as Text"

 

Scenario 2 (MailChimp):

  1. Open the file email.html with your browser to make sure all the images are loaded properly
  2. Login to MailChimp.
  3. Select "Templates" from the top navigation bar
  4. Select “Create Template”
  5. Select "Import HTML”
  6. Name your file and upload ONLY the html file
  7. Click "save"
  8. Now you can create an email campaign using the uploaded template

 

Scenario 3 (Thunderbird):

  1. Open the file email.html with your browser
  2. Ensure all the images are loaded properly
  3. Open Thunderbird
  4. Select "Write" to create a new message
  5. Select "Insert" and then "HTML" from the menu
  6. Copy all the html code from the DesignEdit email.html by using a text editor such as Notepad or Notepad++
  7. Paste it into the "HTML" section in Thunderbird
  8. Select "Insert"
