The following information provides details and specifications for your e-mail accounts through MarketingIdeasForPrinters.com.
Number of Days Messages are Allowed on Server: Unlimited
E-mail messages will remain on the mail server until they are retrieved by your e-mail software (assuming your e-mail software is set to remove message immediately or within a fixed number of days), or until you delete the messages through the web mail interface.
IMAP Functionality
In addition to the typical POP3 protocol, your e-mail account supports the IMAP protocol. When using IMAP protocol, all messages are stored on the mail server. If you are a high-traffic e-mail user you may wish to consider upgrading to a larger capacity, as messages sent to a full mailbox will not be accepted.
When considering which incoming mail protocol to use (IMAP or POP), you will need to weigh your options for what is most important to you as an individual managing your mailbox or as a company. Either incoming mail protocol will work with the mailboxes we host for you!
Attachment size allowed: 50 MB
The system allows attachment up to 50 MB in size to be received. If you are using our mail servers for sending e-mail, attachments up to 50 MB may be sent. If you are using your Internet Service Provider's mail server for sending e-mail (SMTP mail server) you will be subjected to the limits imposed by your ISP.
Spam Filtering Preferences: Low
By default your spam filtering preferences will be set to Low, which catches obvious spam only. This setting may be changed to High, which catches the most spam (recommended); or Exclusive, which means you will receive e-mail only from addresses on your Safe List. Spam filtering may also be disabled completely. These settings (and additional spam settings) are available when editing the Account Options through the webmail interface. Spam protection is provided at no additional charge.
Virus Protection
Each e-mail account is protected from viruses by virus protection software installed at the mail server level. It is not necessary to install virus protection on your computer to protect against viruses distributed via e-mail (although you are encouraged to install virus protection software to protect yourself from viruses delivered via method other than e-mail). Virus protection is provided at no additional charge.
Safe List
Adding e-mail addresses and/or domains to the Safe List ensures that spam filters will not incorrectly identify as spam the mail you receive from those sources. These settings (and additional spam settings) are available when editing the Account Options through the webmail interface.
Vacation Messages and E-mail Forwarding
Vacation Messages (or auto-responders) and E-mail Forwarding options are available when editing the Account Options through the webmail interface.
Administrative Access
Administrative access to your domain's e-mail account via a web interface is available upon request.
