E-Mail Acceptable Use Policy
Table of Contents
For the security and protection of all our customers, bulk mailings are not allowed to be sent from our mail servers.
Servers used to send bulk e-mails can become listed on third-party blacklists, which may cause their mail delivery to be blocked by recipients' mail servers. Blacklisting is difficult to reverse and can result in the blocking of legitimate e-mail.
Definition of Bulk Email
For the purposes of this policy, bulk e-mail means any e-mail messages of similar content that are sent to more than 250 recipients within a relatively short period of time.
Enforcement
- Measures are in place to prevent bulk e-mail from being sent through our servers.
- Repeated attempts to send bulk e-mail may result in interruption and/or termination of mail services.
- Normal "everyday" e-mail is not affected, but placing 250+ recipients in the To, CC, or BCC fields will trigger restrictions.
- Attempts to circumvent restrictions by breaking up bulk mailings over time or sending from multiple accounts will also be blocked.
