Summary: Our Harmony system, available with the Ecommerce Suite Add-on, allows you to associate your order forms with templates you have set up in your Printer's Plan Management Information System (MIS). This association enables the website to send new orders directly into Printer's Plan, and for the order forms on your website to seamlessly display Printer's Plan pricing to your customers.
To provide real-time pricing from Printer's Plan to print buyers on your website:
- From your Control Center, locate the order form you wish to assign a template to.
- On the sidebar, choose "Pricing"
- Choose "Advanced Pricing: Harmony" from the list of pricing options
- Click the green "Create New Template" button to open the template builder tools
- Type in the Template Number and Item Number (if applicable) of the Printer's Plan Template you'd like to assign to this order form
- You will then be presented with a list of the form's available specifications. Click the checkbox for ALL options that are associated with that template in Printer's Plan.
- When finished, click the "Save Settings" button at the bottom of the page.
- Use the "Publish Pricing / Switch to Test Mode" button to make the pricing visible only to you (Visibility: Admin) or to make pricing visible to your customers (Visibility: Public).
How orders are sent to your Printer's Plan:
- If the client submits an order from an order form that has been assigned to a template and chooses any combination of options associated with that template assignment, the website will submit that order to Printer's Plan, which will create a new order using the assigned template number.
- If the client submits an order from an order form that has not been assigned to a template the website will submit that order to Printer's Plan, which will create a new order with the order details placed in the notes section.
How pricing from Printer's Plan is used:
- If the client chooses any combination of options associated with a template assigned to an order form, the website will automatically fetch the pricing information from Printer's Plan for that template number, and present it to the user.
- If the client chooses any combination of options that are not associated with a template assigned to an order form, the website will display "N/A" to the user.
