    We made an update to ensure the 'Services' tab continues to display all expected content when paragraphs/line breaks are used within this tab.

  • uDesignIT jpeg pop-up Preview

    The uDesignIT! jpeg pop-up preview window now shows the company name in the title bar if said company is related to a Private Label Website.

  • 5 NEW Product Website Sliders

    Marketing Ideas For Printers has released five new website sliders for the following products to help you sell more printing: Private Label Websites, uDesignIT, DesignEdit, White Papers, and Reorder Forms Library. If you'd like to feature any of these sliders on your website, simply toggle them to "on" in your Control Center by going to Web Pages > Home Page > 'Home Page Sliders'.

  • Attach a File to an Order Form

    We made an update so that after adding a file to an order form, the system will show button text of 'Add Another File' to let your printbuyers know they may attach another file to their job.

  • Private Label Website Settings

    An update was made to the 'Private Label Website Settings' page to let printers know that if they are using Authorize.net, to update their Authorize.net account as part of a new Private Label Website URL.

    An update was made to the Workflow tab so that the assigned Customer Rep will continue to populate in the 'Customer Rep' column.

  • Deleting Product Categories

    We made an update so that deleting 'Inactive' product categories will continue to permanently delete from the system.

  • FedEx Shipping Options

    An update was made to FedEx's shipping option of 'Ground Home Delivery' so that any time the 'This address is residential' checkbox is selected, FedEx will continue to display the shipping charge during cart checkout.

  • Website 'Site Map' for 'Services' tab

    The website's 'Site Map' for the 'Services' tab has been updated to ensure all links redirect to the necessary subsection within the applicable 'Services' tab page.

  • New: Help Text added within 'Online Payments' tab for Authorize.net

    We've added help text below the 'Gateway Service' field when additional setup is required at Authorize.net.

    We made an update so that setting a 'default' answer for an order form question continues to save as the intended default.

  • New: Private Label Website custom page

    For printshops subscribed to the 'Private Label Website Marketing Kit', there is a new page available in the footer of your website under 'Help and Support'. This page provides your prospects information about branded print portals that are specifically tailored to meet their requirements. If you are also subscribed to the Help Center, you'll also find this page located under the 'Help Center' nav tab menu titled 'Private Label Websites'.

    There is now a new subtab within the Control Center's 'Web Pages' tab named 'Landing Pages'. If you are not yet subscribed to Email Marketing For Printers, this Landing Pages tab includes information that would be included with your subscription to Email Marketing For Printers: A free print-focused landing page to grow your contact list and free print-specific email templates.

    We've updated the YouTube videos that are found in the Control Center for the following topics: Pricing Tables, Pricing Calculator, and Workflow.

  • Inventory update when editing order quantity

    Inventory has been updated to take into consideration when printbuyers edit the quantity for a product while in their shopping cart.

    We made an update to ensure that any printshop employee may assign an order to any of their customers upon cart checkout.

  • URL link within auto-generated emails route users to their specific Private Label Website

    We've ensured the link 'Get Started by Resetting Your Password' within the 'Welcome to <PLW URL>' email routes users to their private label website when clicking on said link.

    Marketing Ideas for Printers has updated the vendor used for sales tax lookup. The sales tax lookup will now take into consideration the zip code and address of the location the product will be delivered at to ensure your printbuyers’ printed products are shipped in the most accurate manner possible.

  • Updated and Expanded Glossary of Printing Terms

    Becoming the resource your print buyers are looking is about to get even easier! Here’s what’s new with the Glossary of Printing Terms.


      •Nearly doubled in size with over 950 entries!

      •Entries have been rewritten to be reader-friendly and easier to understand.

      •New search function has been added, making it much quicker and easier to find what you’re looking for. (Give it a try!)

      •Updated URL structure provides a link to each specific glossary term. This means you can send your customers a link to a specific term, saving them time and making you even more helpful!


      Default order forms: Updated naming convention

      Marketing Ideas for Printers was appending ‘(converted system form)’ at the end of the default order forms we provide subscribers. This has been cleaned up so order form names are cleaner and not as lengthy.

  • New Sidebar Ads are available to all website subscribers

    MI4P has released new Sidebar Ads for printers to use on their websites. These are ads that display on the right sidebar of various pages of the website.

  • New message indicates if an order form is inactive

    A new message has been created to visibly show up on the cart checkout screen. This message indicates if an order form is turned off but still in the cart checkout. Printshop admins will still be able to submit the order if need be.

  • Edits to the Color Picker question for Industry Standard Pricing subscribers

    We have made an update to the Color Picker type of question so that Industry Standard Pricing subscribers can edit the ‘Interior Pages’ group of answers as needed.

  • DesignEdit Postcard Size 5.5” x 8.5”

    We made a behind-the-scenes update to ensure the Postcard size of 5.5” x 8.5” is visible within DesignEdit.

  • Order form Help Bubbles updated

    In an effort to bring more clarity to your print buyers, the Help Bubble text for the hole drilling question on the Carbonless Forms order form, as well as the size question on the Postcard order form have been updated.

  • Order form images can now be added independent of a question or text label

    You can now add an image to your order form without the text label being visible to your print buyers. Your image can be viewable on the backend within the 'Questions & Answers' section of the Form Editor but the image name will NOT show on the order form. This will allow for keeping track of the various images you may be adding to an order form without your print buyers seeing the question name of the images.

  • Inactive reorder forms update

    To ensure print buyers are unable to place orders on designated inactive order forms, updates have been made to block print buyers from any additional access to inactive forms.

  • DesignEdit notices contained to DesignEdit subscribers

    To reduce potentially unnecessary messages from displaying, only printers subscribed to DesignEdit will see messages related to DesignEdit within the Order Form Editor.

  • Uploaded files display updated on order forms

    Uploaded files will now appear without the underline on order forms, eliminating any confusion that the uploaded files are clickable. This update did not alter the functionality of the 'File Upload' type of question but rather ensures print buyers are not led to assume the file is a clickable link.

    DesignEdit projects will now show the thumbnail of the project in two places: When viewing the 'Shopping Cart' pop-up and within Step 1: Review Order within the cart checkout screen.

  • Employee 'Bio' formatting

    We made an update to ensure continued formatting when editing a printshop employee's Bio section when editing a printshop employee's account.

  • Meet Our Staff page shows selected image orientation preference

    We have made an update to ensure the website's Meet Our Staff page uses the Header Orientation preference set when editing the 'Meet Our Staff' featured page.

  • All order forms now appear

    We have made an update to ensure all order forms that are turned 'on' show up under the Product Category that they are assigned to.

  • Invalid credit card

    We have added additional logic related to the website checking to ensure a credit card is actually a valid number.

  • Image alt text for a product category

    When users define the Image Alt Text of a Product Category, we are ensuring this is applied to the category image.

  • Workflow 'Description' column updated to always show the name of the product ordered

    We made an update to ensure the Workflow 'Description' column continues to show the specific name of the product that was ordered.

  • Reorder forms not using inventory received an update

    For reorder forms that were not set up to use inventory, we made an update to ensure users can continue to place orders.

  • Reorder forms with no inventory

    Various reorder forms that did not have inventory tracking set up were updated to ensure non-related files do not appear as well as ensure the Low Inventory Notification is no longer triggered.

  • Consistent images now showing for product categories

    We made an update so that the image of a Product Category in the Control Center is the same image that is showing on the front-facing of the website.

  • Uniform submenu expansion

    We updated the order of the Control Center's sub-menus. These changes kept in mind the generally most used sub-menus as opening first when selecting a main menu tab.

  • Required validations added for 'Credit Card Number', 'Security Code', and 'Expires' fields

    Within a printbuyers 'Orders Available For Online Payment' tab, we added additional security measures to ensure printbuyers have entered in the required fields when paying for an order.

  • Upgrades to inventory deductions

    We made two upgrades related to how inventory is deducted from the system: Changing the order quantity and cancelling a job correctly deducts inventory from order forms.

  • Downloading 'Advanced: Pricing Tables' data

    It was found that download Advanced Pricing: Tables pricing data was showing data in incorrect columns. This has been updated so that if a pricing column is left completely blank, the data will stay in the correct columns.

    It was found that the order form category of 'Menus' was not making the proper connection on the back-end to DesignEdit. We made an update to prevent this issue from occurring again.
