In addition to the standard color options that are available for your website design, you are also able to request a color of your own.
How to request a custom color
- Choose "My Website" from the Control Center menu.
- Click "Website Colors", found in the Website Settings sidebar.
- Type the code for your desired color into the "Primary Color" field.
- You can use any of the following color codes:
- Hexidecimal: Usually displayed in image programs with a leading "#" symbol. It is 3 sets of Hexidecimal "numbers" (for Red, Green, and Blue respectively) ranging from "00" to "FF" so that Black=000000 and White=FFFFFF.
- RGB: Values are for Red, Green and Blue ranging from 0 to 255.
- Pantone (PMS): If you have a specific Pantone color you'd like to use, just type it in. We'll look up what the equivalent RGB values are for you.
- CMYK: Values for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black, presented as percentages.
- Click the "Request Custom Color" button.
Note: This process does not change your site color. This generates a notification to our customer care team who will prepare a preview site for you with the color you've chosen, and send you a link to it.
- When you receive the email with the link to the preview, click the link.
- When viewing the preview, choose one of the 3 options in the upper right.
